What could have driven a 27-year-old doctor with a seemingly promising future to commit suicide?
In reports by Singapore Press Holdings, it was seemingly due to a failed relationship. The online blogs indicated otherwise.

he killed himself he hated his work? doesn't make sense leh.
again... killing himself after his failed relationship cant quite click as well. its just a waste to die just like that.
It's probably a combination of all factors. But I can empathise with his sense of hopelessness with the civil service. All these people who refuse to change and refuse to do anything, except and unless it makes their resume looks good, even the senior management. I felt like I accomplished nothing in my 3 and a half years there. It must be worse in SAF.
