Pressure Cooker
I thought it was good enough that my 1.5 year old could read some simple words already (thanks to the Your Baby Can Read series) but there are people who said that I should teach him the abcs now before it is "too late"? For goodness' sake, my kid is just barely into his toddler-hood!

Parents now are super kiasu. My fren enrolled her kid for kindergarten when the kid was one! In case, cannot get a place. What next?
i can understand your friend. i realised that now when i was scouting for toddler care for Baby T. totally taken up. got money also no place. sigh. - EDPJ
I guess you just have to join in when the majority works that way; or risk leaving your kids out of the system. But I hate to think that I will have to do that if and when I have kids.

The baby can read program is optional to parents and shouldnt be over looked, there are many benefits from stimulating our childrens learning abilitys early on.
